Rehabilitation
Postnatal
After childbirth, postnatal rehabilitation helps the body recover. It includes pelvic floor rehabilitation and, if necessary, abdominal muscle strengthening. Sessions are tailored to each woman's needs to promote a confident return to daily activities.
Perineal rehabilitation
Perineal rehabilitation helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles to improve their function and prevent or treat certain disorders, such as urinary incontinence, feelings of heaviness, or difficulties in recovery after childbirth.
Biofeedback is a method that helps you become more aware of your pelvic floor contractions through visual or auditory feedback. It allows you to learn how to contract the right muscles effectively and appropriately.
Electrical stimulation uses weak electrical impulses to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles when they are too weak or difficult to contract voluntarily. This technique can facilitate muscle strengthening in certain situations.
These tools are always used as part of a personalized approach, following an assessment by a healthcare professional, and are integrated into a rehabilitation program tailored to the needs of each patient.
